Green Living Fair

The “Green Living Fair” is set for this Saturday at the Habistore, at the southwest corner of Ajo & Palo Verde. The event will showcase several environmental and sustainability projects.
Experts will be on hand to discuss rainwater harvesting, gray water, solar, recycling, sustainability, organic gardening, urban farming, water conservation, Freecycle, energy savings, green building and remodeling, buffelgrass control, the Community Food Bank, and ink cartridge and electronics recycling.
You can also drop off electronics for recycling during the event, but there will be a charge to recycle non-working televisions. You can donate working TVs to the Habistore while you’re there.
