School Fair This Weekend November 2, 2009 | NPR

The Tucson Unified School District will be hosting its "Festival of Schools" event Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Reid Park Zoo, which will offer free admission during that time.

TUSD says the festival will give parents the opportunity to meet with staff members from more than 100 different schools in the district. TUSD will also hand out a Catalog of Schools, designed to help families make their decisions. Open enrollment for schools begins Nov. 13 and families living outside of a school’s attendance boundaries will need to fill out a School Choice Form.
