Q-and-A on Medicare Open Enrollment

Expert advises seniors to act now, with deadline two weeks away; some plans changing, others more costly.

It’s the midway point for the seven-week Medicare Open Enrollment period in Arizona.

The 2015 Medicare annual election period ends Dec. 7, and it’s confronting seniors with an array of sometimes-confusing options.

Many seniors use the popular Medicare Advantage plan, which combines medical, hospitalization, and prescription coverage.

Tucson independent insurance broker Denise Early helps people sort through their choices, and in this in-depth report, she discussed changes to Medicare, beginning with why some seniors are losing their Medicare Advantage plans.
