Live Coverage of the State of the Union Address

PBS Newshour and NPR 89.1 radio will provide live coverage of President Obama’s sixth annual State of the Union Address, Tuesday, beginning at 7 p.m.

PBS NewsHour will broadcast coverage of both President Obama's sixth annual State of the Union speech and the GOP response. Co-anchors Gwen Ifill and Judy Woodruff will be joined by syndicated columnist Mark Shields and New York Times columnist David Brooks for in-depth analysis.

NPR will provide live anchored coverage of the President's speech as well as the Republican response. Robert Siegel will host, joined in the studio by White House Correspondent Tamara Keith, National Political Correspondent Mara Liasson and Senior Washington Editor Ron Elving. NPR's Ailsa Chang will report live from the House chamber.
