Tracking treatment candidates for COVID-19

Episode 236: University of Arizona Pharmacology researcher Jun Wang

A team at the University of Arizona investigating influenza found that some of the molecular compounds they were looking at can also stop the coronavirus. Pharmacologist Jun Wang thinks the research could lead to a fast track development for an anti-COVID-19 drug.

Jun Wang spoke with Leslie Tolbert, Ph. D professor emerita in Neuroscience at the University of Arizona.
