Pima Community College will give the public a chance to weigh in on what qualifications and personal characteristics to seek in the search for a new chancellor.

PCC is in conducting a national search to fill the chancellor position after Roy Flores stepped down earlier this year. Suzanne Miles is the interim chancellor and has said she will not seek the permanent position.

The seven forums will be led by a consultant from R.H Perry & Associates, an executive search firm hired by the college to help find a new chancellor, according to PCC officials.

The firm will ask the public about the challenges PCC must address in the years to come, the qualifications and personal characteristics the new chancellor should have and the names of individuals who could fill the position.
