The characters that artist Charles M. Schultz created in 1950 for a comic strip that he originally wanted to call Lil' Folks are still very much a part of the American psyche. We've all felt like a Charlie Brown at some point in our lives, or had a run-in with a Lucy Van Pelt.

In October of 2012, the teen actors of The Christian Youth Theater will bring the musical Snoopy to life on stage, with full costumes, sets, and an orchestral backing.

Christian Youth Theater is known for staging ambitious productions of shows like Les Miserables and Suessical, theatrical works that demand a high level of professionalism from the young performers involved. In this interview, hear Shandi Meghran, who plays Sally Brown, and Daniel Hagberg, who plays Snoopy, talk abou the experience -- starting with did they ever see any of the classic Peanuts TV specials themselves?
