IN PERFORMANCE AT THE WHITE HOUSE

A Celebration of Music From the Civil Rights Movement: President and Mrs. Obama host a concert in the White House in honor of Black History Month. Friday, February 12th at 9:00 p.m. on PBS-HD.

The evening will feature songs from the Civil Rights Movement performed by top entertainers, as well as readings from famous Civil Rights speeches and writings

The music special will include Natalie Cole, Bob Dylan, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, John Mellencamp, Smokey Robinson, Seal, the Blind Boys of Alabama, Yolanda Adams, Dr. Bernice Johnson Reagon and the Howard University Choir perform.
