SB 1186 - Course Numbering

Senate Bill (SB) 1186 requires Arizona’s three state universities and community colleges to use a common course numbering system for core courses. The proposal, which has the backing of student government associations at the state universities, would make transferring credits between the universities easier.

House Bill 2299 is a similar proposal. The full Senate unanimously approved SB 1186 on February 11, 2010.
