Senate Bill 1152 - Foster Care Rights

Senate Bill 1152 clarifies that the Bill of Rights for Children and Youth in Foster Care Act does not establish any legally enforceable rights . The Bill of Rights outlines the rights of foster children when it comes to appropriate care, privacy, and protection from harm. SB 1152 is sponsored by Tucson Senator Al Melvin (R) along with six other members of the Legislature.

On February, 11, 2010, SB 1152 passed the full Senate on a unanimous vote.
