A lawyer wounded in this week's Phoenix office shooting has died.
Mark Hummels had been on life support at a Phoenix hospital after Wednesday morning's shooting that killed a Scottsdale company's CEO.
His law firm's publicist, Athia Hardt, said Hummels died Thursday night.
Police said the gunman, 70-year-old Arthur Douglas Harmon, was found dead early Thursday in Mesa from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Harmon opened fire at the end of a mediation session over a lawsuit he filed last April, police said.
A woman also was shot, but her injuries were not life-threatening.
Hummels, 43, worked with the law firm Osborn Maledon and focused on business disputes, real estate litigation and malpractice defense.
