Special Screening & Resource Fair to raise awareness of domestic violence, sexual abuse, homelessness, and the local resources available.
The screening will feature excerpts from “Kind Hearted Woman,” a film that chronicles Robin Carboneau, a 32 year-old Oglala Sioux woman, struggles between saving her family and risking it all to help her Native American community and abused women. She negotiates single motherhood, alcoholism, and the justice system to emerge intact after years of abuse.
