Western musician Bill Ganz performs a contemporary addition to his cowboy song repertoire, a ballad that was inspired by wide open spaces, and the freedom of the cowboy lifestyle.
The song is called Night Riders' Lament, written by Michael Burton, a rancher in Vail, Arizona.
Ganz, a member of the Western Music Association, has been a part of the Tucson music scene for more than 28 years. He is also the leader for the Bill Ganz Western Band.
When he's not on stage, Ganz teaches guitar lessons at the east side location of Chicago Music Store, located on 5646 E. Speedway Blvd.
