BUSINESS IN TUCSON: The Arizona Daily Star's annual listing of the top employers in Southern Arizona showed overall employment grew by 0.7 percent in full-time equivalent positions. David Wichner, the assistant business editor at the Star discusses the report.

REBUILDING NATIVE NATIONS: The Native Nations Institute at the University of Arizona focuses on rebuilding government structures in Native nations by research and outreach offered through online courses. The institute has been working toward its goal of helping Native governments for nearly 30 years.

CAREER TECH ED: A discussion with Paul Luna, president and CEO of the Helios Education Foundation, about the opportunities and stigmas of career technical education.

PIMA TECH ED: Pima County's technical education program has been adapting to a shrinking budget. In the past year, the state cut the budgets for Joint Technical Education Districts by 52 percent. In the county, the cuts took the $24 million budget down to $13 million, said Tina Norton, the chief financial officer of Pima County's JTED.
