NATIVE BUTTERFLIES: Southeastern Arizona is a diversity hotspot for native butterflies, and is home to more than 250 species. Tohono Chul Park and the Tucson Botanical Garden have created botanical displays with their favorite foods and habitat to attract them and help preserve them. Tohono Chul will host weekly tours of these beauties starting this month.

AZ BUTTERFLY GROUP: The Southeast Arizona Butterfly Association describes itself as a fun, relaxed group for butterfly enthusiasts. Their goal is to advocate for the colorful creatures and their habitats through conservation, education and recreation. SEABA recently helped create a butterfly identification guide for Tohono Chul's weekly butterfly tours.

BUTTERFLY WONDERLAND: At Butterfly Wonderland, located near Scottsdale, Ariz., visitors can see and interact with these colorful and mystical insects. Visitors visit the place for entertainment and to appreciate their beauty, but they also have a chance to learn about science and nature.
