Pima County is hosting public meetings to gather ideas from people to help shape it’s comprehensive plan.
Becky Stamper, with Pima’s Development Services Department, said Arizona requires counties to adopt a comprehensive plan and update it every 10 years.
“The purpose of the Pima Prospers meetings is to reach out public across the county in order to get the public’s thoughts, help and ideas on what the future of Pima County looks like," she said. "We are looking for things that perhaps aren’t working as well as they should be as well as new ideas of what we can be doing.”
The first meeting will be held on Monday night at the Nanini Branch Library in Tucson.
