The Arizona Department of Education has a new website to help parents access detailed information and test results from schools across the state.

AZDash offers school profiles with letter grades awarded by the state and basic information such as school location and enrollment numbers.

“As a longtime champion of school choice in Arizona, I realize how important it is for parents to have access to meaningful information about their local schools,” said John Huppenthal, Arizona’s superintendent of public instruction. “This new website will help them better understand how schools are preforming, so that they can make informed decisions and find the right school for their children.”

Huppenthal announced the launch of the website in his State of Education report Monday.

The department plans to add more features to the website including accountability measures and information about staff and student populations.
