Prescott officials have begun making plans to mark the one-year anniversary of the deaths of 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots killed in the Yarnell Hill Fire.
The Arizona Republic reported the city of Prescott is planning events with local churches and private organizations to honor the firefighters and their families on June 30.
The city will conduct its own ceremony in the historic downtown Courthouse Square.
City spokesman Pete Wertheim says the names of the firefighters will be read and the courthouse bell will ring 19 times at 4:42 p.m., the time it's believed the crew died.
Officials will also re-air the memorial service from last July on local cable channels.
All but one of the 20 Hotshots on the Prescott-based crew perished in the fire on June 30, 2013.
