An evaluation team is scheduled to visit Pima Community College as part of efforts to reaffirm PCC's accreditation, a press release from the college said.

The purpose for the Higher Learning Commission team's visit is to check on identified concerns, which led to the PCC being out on probation in April of last year, and determine whether the issues have been fully resolved, the news release said.

"I am proud of the work that has been done so far by PCC, and I look forward to the visit by the evaluation team and the chance for the college to definitively demonstrate it deserves the fullest confidence of the HLC and the public," said Pima Community College Chancellor Lee Lambert in the press release.

This evaluation visit, scheduled for mid-September, is the second part of an ongoing self-study process, the release explained.
