The housing market in Tucson continues to improve, according to a new report from the Tucson Association of Realtors.
Home sales increased by almost 17.7 percent from February to March, while pending sales rose nearly 10.8 percent.
The price homes sold for also saw an increase. Average price increased more than 1.6 percent, and median selling price went up 3 percent.
Conventional loan sales made up 37 percent of home sales in March, while 33.5 percent of homes were bought for cash.
The number of homes on the market is 35.5 percent higher than it was this time last year, and the average sales price has increased 4.5 percent over the last year.
