Tucson police are warning women on the east side of the city to be on guard against a serial sexual assailant.
Five women have reported being attacked in the area near 22nd Street and Craycroft Road, and police believe the same suspect may be responsible.
Each attack occurred while the victims were walking alone in the area between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Sgt. Pete Dugan with the Tucson Police Department said all five victims have described the suspect as, "A light-skinned Hispanic or Caucasian, approximately 25 to 30 years old, 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6, with a thin build, short brown hair, possibly a light mustache, and acne or pox marks on his face."
Police are asking are asking women to be cautious while out in the area during the late evening or early morning hours, and to travel in pairs or groups if possible until the assailant is apprehended.
