The National Republican Congressional Committee has named Congressional District Two candidate Martha McSally a “Young Gun”.

This means her campaign has surpassed fundraising and organization benchmarks.

The NRCC uses the program as a way of recognizing candidates they believe are the most viable in contested races. McSally gained the same level of recognition two years ago, and she is the only Arizona Republican candidate to get the designation.

Congressional District One candidates Andy Tobin and Gary Kiehne have been recognized as “On the Radar” by the NRCC.

McSally is seeking the Republican nomination to challenge Democratic incumbent U.S. Rep. Ron Barber.
