The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce will host a press conference Tuesday with members of law enforcement, religious communities and business leaders asking Congress to act on immigration reform.

"We have a window of opportunity for Congress to act on this critical issue, and that window is now," said Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce Vice President Chad Heinrich.

The event in Phoenix will be one of six simultaneous press conferences in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Utah and Nevada where representatives will release a joint letter to Congress calling for “prompt action on immigration reform to keep our communities secure and boost our economy,” said a media release from the Greater Phoenix Chamber.
