Workers are finishing the Presidio San Agustín del Tucson in downtown Tucson, a recreation of the Spanish settlement from the 1700 and 1800's where Spaniards first formed a community on a site where Native Americans had lived for centuries.

The Presidio will be run by the city's park department and will include several attractions for visitors like a palisade, a tower, a presidio mural and an archaeology exhibit.
