LA Opera on the Air broadcasts continue on Classical 90.5 at noon this Saturday, July 19, with a performance of Carmen by Georges Bizet. The libretto is by Henri Meilhac and Ludovic Halévy, based on Prosper Mérimée's novella of the same name. The performance will be sung in French and will run approximately two hours and forty-five minutes.
