The pilot program that has allowed Mexican trucking to do business in the United States could be coming to an end, as Christopher Conover reports.

Since National Public Radio's start in 1971, Ira Flatow has been their star science reporter, and he now hosts "Talk of the Nation: Science Friday". Ira is bringing Science Friday to Tucson on September 19th, but first he talks about his career, and his endless enthusiasm for science, in a conversation with Mark McLemore.

Pam White tells us about the work of the Southern Arizona Animal Blood Bank, which provides blood to animals in need, thanks to some Tucson pets who became donors.

Tony Paniagua introduces us to the Afro-Cuban sounds of veteran Tucson band Steel Ribbon, who pay tribute to the musical legacy of Carlos Santana.
