In a commentary about our state's future with high-tech industry, Dr. James Gentile, the president of the Research Corporation for Science Advancement, stresses that a strong education in math and science is a must for Arizona students.

The Tucson Symphony Orchestra is set to open its 80th season this month, and it's also releasing the orchestra's first-ever compact disc. TSO conductor George Hanson gives us a preview of both events, in a conversation with Sooyeon Lee.

Mark McLemore speaks with Joey Burns of the band Calexico about the group's new album "Carried to Dust" and the band's recent European tour. Burns also plays some music live in the KUAZ studios.
