The Building a Better Future for Southern Arizona report shows that between 2012 and last year, 50,000 Pima County homes were substandard; meaning they were not up-to-date with local building and housing codes. For more than three decades, UA students and volunteers have helped Habitat for Humanity Tucson repair these homes and build new ones.

The future homeowner is involved every step of the way – from the construction of the home to the financing. And once the homes are completed, the houses are financed without interest mortgage payments.

Habitat's goal is to provide Tucsonans having a hard time with better living conditions.
