Napolitano Nomination - Future of "A" Mountain - StoryCorps in Tucson - Miner's Story #7: Chaco

The nomination of Governor Janet Napolitano to be the next head the Department of Homeland Security could mean some real changes in Arizona politics, as we hear in a report from Christopher Conover.

["A" Mountain](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sentinel_Peak_(Arizona) was the site of the earliest known human settlement in the Tucson Valley. Today, plans are in place to rehabilitate the birthplace of Tucson, as Kimberly Craft reports.

The StoryCorps mobile recording studio has arrived in Tucson, a unique opportunity to preserve memories and to share family stories with the world. Mark McLemore talks to the StoryCorps team to find out more about their mission, and how Tucsonans can participate.

StoryCorps will be in Tucson through December 21st, and January 5 through the 17th. The first session is currently full, but there could be cancellations, and reservations for the second session will be taken soon. More information is available at 1-800-850-4406.

Claudine LoMonaco introduces us to another storyteller from the Miner's Story Project.
