Classical 90.5's next full-length opera broadcast is at noon this Saturday, November 8, with a performance of Lucrezia Borgia by Gaetano Donizetti , set to a libretto by Felice Romani after the play Lucrezia Borgia by Victor Hugo, who based his protagonist on the historical Renaissance-era Italian aristocrat of the same name. The broadcast will run approximately two and one-half hours.

This Saturday's performance of Donizetti’s bel canto masterpiece, Lucrezia Borgia, was recorded live in July 2014 at The Caramoor Summer Music Festival, a performing arts center located on a unique 90-acre setting about 50 miles north of New York City.
