Bill Buckmaster speaks with invasive species expert James Clarke Washburne, PhD. of the University of Arizona Department of Hydrology and Water Resources about how the unwanted plants take hold, the damage they cause and what steps can be taken to keep them out of the natural habitat of the desert southwest.

Tucson Arundo, is looking for students, citizen volunteers, and civic and professional organizations (scouts, 4-H, Audubon, Rotary, etc.) who are interested in volunteering to help remove this invasive plant.
