Arts reporter Sooyoen Lee profiles California artist Maynard Dixon, who came to Tucson in 1900 to paint what he believed to be the vanishing west.
In 1930, after several journeys to Arizona, Dixon made Tucson his winter home. This celebrated artist will be the subject of a major exhibit this fall.
