Barabbas

Anthony Quinn portrays Barabbas, the thief given freedom so Jesus could be crucified. Saturday at 9 p.m. on PBS 6.

This movie epic tells the story of the thief Barabbas, who was spared crucifixion when the Jews chose Christ in his place. Struggling with his spirituality, Barabbas goes through many ordeals leading him to the gladiator arena, where he tries to win his freedom and confront his inner demons.

Hollywood at Home presents Barabbas, Saturday at 9 p.m. on PBS 6.
