The first "Entrada de Kino" will be celebrated on Saturday, November 15th and organizers hope to make this an annual event that will attract thousands of people.

Entrada, Spanish for entrance, is a re-enactment of Father Eusebio Kino's entrance to Tucson.

The festival will include a procession of horsemen (cabalgata) along with members of the Tohono O'Odham Nation, the Pascua Yaqui Nation, historians, musicians and other participants from the United States and Mexico.
