Many local restaurants are reporting at least a 20% drop in business in recent months so they are trying to band together for economic survival.

More than 30 of the locally owned and operated establishments form part of Tucson Originals. It's an organization made of these business owners who share ideas, help each other and function as a collective group to get discounts, share advertising costs and other measures to save money and try to stay more competitive.

Tony Paniagua speaks with the Executive Director of Tucson Originals as well as the owners of two restaurants and a couple of customers.
