"The Big Read" is a National Endowment for the Arts project that invites communities around the nation to choose an author to celebrate. Tucson readers, organized by the non-profit Literacy Connects, chose Edgar Allan Poe. 12-year old student Forrest Zepezauer was intrigued when he read about Poe in school, and decided to commit some of his poems to memory.
