Register to Vote by Monday for May 17 Special Election

Two ballot issues: expanding state land trust payout for schools; pension reform.

Arizona residents must be registered to vote by Monday or they will not be allowed to cast ballots in the May 17 special election.

Voters who are currently registered do not need to register again. Independents are allowed to vote in the upcoming elections.

Voters will decide on two ballot questions.

Prop 123 nearly triples the amount of money sent from the state land trust to K-12 public schools.

Prop 124 changes cost of living increases and other aspects of state pension for public safety officers.

You can register to vote in person, by mail or online.
