Foyle’s War VI: Killing Time

Detective Foyle finds himself going head-to-head against the U.S. Army and all of its might when a body is found on an army base. Sunday, May 9 at 8 p.m. on PBS-HD.

The war in Europe is over, and Detective Chief Superintendent Christopher Foyle hopes his crime-fighting days are, too. But murder knows no respite in the seaside town of Hastings, and the unflappable chief must solve one of his most challenging cases yet. Foyle must solve a brutal murder amid tensions between black American GIs and locals.

Black American GIs waiting to be shipped home from their camp near Hastings find themselves unwelcome by locals. Tensions are complicated by a mixed-race baby who lives with her English mother in a rooming house run by Foyle’s former driver, Sam, and her friend Adam. A brutal murder ensues, and Foyle must solve it.
