Talk Show Host John C. Scott of KJLL and Linda Valdez, Arizona Republic weigh in on the continuing fall-out over Arizona's new immigration law in light of news that the City of Phoenix says the law could cost the Valley of Sun $90M in lost convention business over the next five years. Also, the City of Tucson has lost a major convention scheduled for next year that would have brought glass-blowing artists from around the country to the Old Pueblo. Scott and Valdez also talk about the importance of the May 18th sales tax election.

Also on the table, a Rio Nuevo consultant issued a report this week that says the proposed $192M new Sheraton Convention Center Hotel in downtown Tucson won't make enough money to pay for itself and needs taxpayer subsidies to pay for the construction.
