Arizona Senator Will Speak at Republican Convention

A state senator from Phoenix will kick off convention

State Sen. Kimberly Yee will speak at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland Monday.

Her speech will be early in the day, and she called the opportunity an honor. Yee will tell the audience about her experience and values, according to a news release.

Yee is expected to be the Majority Leader in the Arizona Senate next year.

Earlier this month, she was named of the 25 most influential women in state politics by Congressional Quarterly’s Roll Call.

Yee represents parts of northwest Phoenix and Glendale.
