Political Focus - Brewer White House Dustup

Governor Jan Brewer is angry with the White House about how she learned that Arizona is being sued over SB 1070

It appears Arizona is about to come into the legal cross hairs of the federal government. In an interview with an Ecuadoran television station, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton indicates that the US Justice Department is ready to sue Arizona over Senate Bill 1070.

Two weeks ago, Governor Jan Brewer met with President Obama to talk about immigration and she is upset that now the federal government is going to file suit. The Governor is also expressing concerns because she found out about the suit via the Internet and was not told personally by the President or the Justice Department. Governor Brewer is also upset that President Obama has not yet outlined his plans for the use of National Guard troops along the US-Mexico border. She says that plan was due to her by June 17th.
