IN PERFORMANCE AT THE WHITE HOUSE

<i>PAUL MCCARTNEY: THE LIBRARY OF CONGRESS GERSHWIN PRIZE FOR POPULAR SONG</i> President and Mrs. Obama honor musician Sir Paul McCartney. Wednesday, July 28 at 8 p.m. on PBS-HD.

Presented at part of the PBS In Performance at the White House series, this ninety minute special will feature the concert event, as well as behind-the-scenes footage and interviews.

The event in the White House East Room features performances by McCartney, and will include performances with Stevie Wonder, Elvis Costello, Jonas Brothers, Herbie Hancock, Emmylou Harris, Corinne Bailey Rae, Dave Grohl, Faith Hill, Lang Lang and Jack White, with remarks by Jerry Seinfeld.

McCartney will be presented the Gershwin Prize by President Obama to during the event.

Wednesday, July 28 at 8 p.m. on PBS-HD.
