Aretha Franklin presents a treasure trove of precious and vital footage in this comprehensive collection of rare performances by legendary R&B performers of the classic 1960s-70s soul era. The program features an abundance of long-lost archival material that has been recovered from film vaults across the United States, England, Germany and France.

Among the historical performances are a wealth of selections from Dick Clark Productions’ landmark series “American Bandstand” and “Where the Action Is.” These full-length songs haven’t been seen since their sole network broadcasts more than four decades ago.
