Home Fires follows the story of a group of inspirational women in an English village during World War II. Samantha Bond (Downton Abbey) and Francesca Annis (Reckless) head the extraordinary cast.

Episode 1
It’s June 1940, and Britain faces the threat of imminent invasion. Pat strikes up a friendship with a Czech soldier stationed nearby. Sarah receives some shocking news about Adam, but her sorrow is overshadowed by a tragedy for Frances.

Home Fires: The Final Season, premieres Sunday at 8 p.m. on PBS 6.
