Episode 140: Meet the New University of Arizona President

Robert C. Robbins says he'll start scholarships, encourage what UA does well.

The University of Arizona's 22nd president started his first day on the job by meeting more students, staff and faculty, which has been his focus for the past few weeks.

Robert C. Robbins introduces himself as "Bobby" and said he is making it a priority to meet students. On his second day, he joined Vanessa Barchfield for an interview about his goals and how the community should measure his work.

Robbins said he wants to continue to expand on the things that already make the University strong: the quality of the education and students, faculty and staff; the research output; partnerships with the community; and national sports championships.
