Celebrate our country’s 241st birthday with an all-star musical extravaganza broadcast live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol.

A CAPITOL FOURTH, America’s national Independence Day celebration, kicks off our country’s 241st birthday with an all-star musical extravaganza broadcast live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. With 20 cameras positioned around the city, viewers are front and center for the greatest display of fireworks anywhere in the nation.

A Capitol Fourth, LIVE Tuesday, July 4, at 5 p.m. with an encore performance at 8 p.m. on PBS 6.

The concert will also be live-streamed online on Facebook Live and http://www.pbs.org/a-capitol-fourth
