Quakers Solicit Stop to Private Prisons

Group wants inquiry into campaign contributions

Last week the American Friends Service Committee asked the state to stop construction of private prisons. They want the Attorney General's office to begin an inquiry into campaign contributions from private prisons to politicians and lobbyists. Beau Hodai was a speaker at the event and he discusses the ins and outs of the private prison industry.
