Federal prosecutors have filed a five-count complaint against Jared Lee Loughner, the man arrested for Saturday's mass shooting in northwest Tucson. The complaint charges Loughlin with attempted murders of U.S. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and her assistants Ron Barber and Pamela Simon, and with the first-degree murders of Federal District Court Judge John Roll and Giffords' assistant Gabriel Zimmerman. State charges for the civilians killed Saturday will follow.
Loughner will make his initial court appearance Monday at 2pm before Magistrate Judge Lawrence Anderson. He remains in federal custody.
