The Last Lecture: Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams is the much-acclaimed talk by Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch, who recently died from pancreatic cancer. The Last Lecture is upbeat, funny, inspiring, moving and something everyone should see. The convention of the "last lecture" at Carnegie Mellon is based on the premise of "if you had only one last lecture to give, what would it be?" In Randy Pausch's case, the convention reflected his reality. With his children in mind, he gives a last lecture urging them and the audience to realize their dreams. Pausch gave his last lecture at the university Sept. 18, 2007, and has never before been seen in its entirety on broadcast television.
