December 1st, 2011 marked the 24th annual World AIDS Day, a global observance of the ongoing efforts to find that disease's cure. But, for people like Tucsonan Johnny Baker, HIV is something he has to live with every day.

Thirty years have passed since HIV was first diagnosed, and the advances in treating the virus have made the disease manageable for many. Yet, the spread continues, and social stigma remains. Fernanda Echavarri has the story...
